This notice explains who owns the content on AstraScholar ("AstraScholar", "we", "us" or "our") and what you may and may not do with it. Please read it together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Everything on our website and app belongs to us or is licensed to us. This includes the content, features, design, text, graphics, logos, screens, audio, question banks, explanations, animated study stories, prompts, AI-generated answers, and all the software and code behind it (together, the "Materials"). AstraScholar is operated by AstraScholar Pty Ltd. The Materials are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws in Australia, India, and internationally. As between you and us, we own all rights in the Materials.
"AstraScholar", our logo, and related names are our trademarks, whether or not they are formally registered. You may not use, register, or copy them — or anything confusingly similar — without our written permission. Any other product or exam names are mentioned only for description and belong to their respective owners.
We give you a limited, personal permission to use the Materials for your own private study for the NEET and UCAT exams. This permission is non-exclusive, cannot be transferred to anyone else, and can be withdrawn at any time. It does not give you any ownership of the Materials. Anything we have not clearly allowed here is not permitted.
Unless we have clearly allowed it or the law requires it, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, share, sell, rent, sub-licence, publicly display, scrape, crawl, harvest, data-mine, decompile, reverse-engineer, or make adaptations of any part of the Materials — including the software, question banks, explanations, stories, prompts, and design. You also may not use the Materials or any AI-generated answer to train or build any AI model, dataset, or product, or to create a competing or similar service. If you break these rules, your permission to use the Materials ends immediately and you may be infringing our rights under copyright and other laws.
The overall look and feel of AstraScholar — including its layout, structure, navigation, visual theme, colours, fonts, icons, styling, graphics, and general user experience — is the result of our own work and investment, and it belongs to us. You may not copy, clone, or imitate our design, layout, theme, or look and feel, in whole or in part, and you may not build, run, or help anyone build a website, app, or product that looks or feels confusingly or substantially similar to AstraScholar in a way that could confuse people, trade off our reputation, or harm our business. This applies even if the copied parts are not each separately protected by copyright, and it is in addition to our other rights (including under trademark law, passing-off, and the consumer-protection rules against misleading or deceptive conduct in Australia and similar laws in India). Copying our look and feel is a serious breach of this notice and may make you legally liable.
AI-generated questions, explanations, and other answers are part of the Materials and, as between you and us, are owned by us. They are study aids only and can contain mistakes, so always check them against reliable sources. Nothing here gives you ownership of any AI-generated answer.
You keep ownership of the questions, images, and other material you upload. You give us permission to store, process, and adapt that material only so we can run and improve the service and provide the features you ask for. Please do not upload anything that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights.
We respect other people's intellectual property and expect our users to do the same. If you think something on our service infringes your copyright, email us at admin@astrascholar.com and tell us: (a) what work you say has been copied; (b) where it appears on our service; (c) how to contact you; and (d) that you genuinely believe the use is not allowed. We may remove or block anything we reasonably believe to be infringing.
We keep every right we have not clearly given you in this notice. If we do not enforce a right straight away, that does not mean we have given it up.
